It may come as a surprise but cobblestones or cobbles as they are commonly referred to, are not just like pebbles you pick up on a beach. They come in many more shapes, sizes and styles than you might think.
For example, at its most basic level, cobblestones are just that stones. Unpreppared other than washed, these stones create that traditional cobbled street look to your drive. You can then either choose to have smaller or larger stones, or a certain type of colour, giving your driveway quite a unique look.
But it doesn't end there. Cobbles also come in a style that you might be forgiven for thinking, is a block paver. However, cobblestones are a more purist stone. You can get limestone cobbles, Yorkstone cobbles and various other stone types, cut precisely to fit together.
As with many of our other paving products, cobblestones can also be found in a number of sizes and types, depending on your requirements.
Larger stones can be used if needed and create a typical looking "cobbled street" effect for your drive. This style is perfect for country homes or more rural properties. The alternative is to choose a smaller stone type which creates more of a pebbled feel to the drive. Suited to both rural and some urban property.
There are options for colour too, but these are slightly more limited based on the nature of the product. However, if you would like to colour co-ordinate, give us your view and we'll try to source the right product for you.
